Tennessee State Veterans Home – Knoxville

The Ben Atchley Tennessee State Veterans’ Home is a 140-bed facility nestled in rural West Knoxville. This beautiful countryside home offers spacious living areas, recreation rooms, and is a short drive to Knoxville’s top hospitals. The home consists of multiple outdoor patios where residents and guests can often be found relaxing in the sun or taking in the scenic views.

Tennessee State Veterans Home-Clarksville

The Brigadier General Wendell H. Gilbert Tennessee State Veterans’ Home is located in the historic city of Clarksville. Situated just north of the city, the home is a short drive from Fort Campbell and plays host to numerous veterans groups who regularly visit with the residents in the on-site bistro or spacious activity room. This 108-bed facility has a neighborhood design and consists of all private rooms.

The Oregon Veterans’ Home in The Dalles was the first State Veterans Home in Oregon, opening its doors in the fall of 1997. The facility is nestled on a hillside, overlooking the majestic Columbia River, with clear views of the Columba River Gorge. One of the many things that truly sets The Dalles Veterans’ Home apart from other care communities are the residents.The Dalles Veterans’ Home is situated on 15 acres located in the historic Columbia Gorge community of The Dalles.

Tennessee Veterans Home – Murfreesboro

The first of four Tennessee State Veterans’ Homes, this home is located in the historic city of Murfreesboro. The 140-bed facility is conveniently situated on the beautiful campus of the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center. Centrally located in the state, the Murfreesboro Veterans’ Home is also a short drive to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Vanderbilt Medical Center, and the VA Medical Center in Nashville.
