1. Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation
This pillar focuses on ensuring veterans receive the care, support, and benefits they’ve earned through their service.
- Advocacy for Veterans: Working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve access to healthcare, disability benefits, and pensions.
- Support Services: Helping veterans navigate claims, appeals, and legal issues related to their benefits.
- Mental Health: Addressing issues such as PTSD, suicide prevention, and substance abuse through programs and community support.
- Homelessness and Employment: Assisting veterans in finding housing, job training, and employment opportunities.
2. National Security
This pillar emphasizes maintaining a strong national defense and supporting active-duty military personnel.
- Support for Troops: Organizing care packages, morale-boosting programs, and advocating for fair pay and benefits.
- Disaster Preparedness: Training and assisting communities in emergency response and disaster relief.
- Border and Cybersecurity: Promoting awareness of modern threats and supporting measures to ensure national safety.
- Youth Preparedness: Engaging youth through programs like Junior ROTC to instill a sense of responsibility and readiness.
3. Americanism
Americanism fosters patriotism and respect for American values and traditions.
- Flag Advocacy: Promoting respect for the American flag, including proper handling and disposal.
- Education and Awareness: Organizing events like Constitution Day and encouraging schools to teach civics and American history.
- Youth Programs: Running programs such as Boys State, Girls State, and the Oratorical Contest to educate youth on government and leadership.
- Immigration and Assimilation: Supporting legal immigration and helping new citizens integrate into American society.
4. Children & Youth
This pillar supports the welfare and development of young people, particularly children of veterans and military families.
- Scholarships and Education: Offering financial aid and resources for higher education.
- Health and Safety: Promoting awareness of issues like child abuse prevention and substance abuse education.
- Support for Families: Providing resources and assistance to families dealing with the deployment or loss of a service member.
- Youth Organizations: Sponsoring activities like Boy Scouts of America and youth sports to encourage character building.
