Central Nebraska Veterans Home

The Central Nebraska Veterans’ Home (CNVH), one of Nebraska’s four veterans’ homes, is located in Kearney Nebraska and opened on January 16, 2019. A 225-bed skilled nursing facility, CNVH is comprised of six neighborhoods, each with three homes, serving 12-15 members each. Each home has its own kitchen, dining area, living room, den with rotating library selection, private dining room, spa room and patio with gazebo.

Eastern Nebraska Veterans Home

Eastern Nebraska Veterans’ Home (ENVH) is one of Nebraska’s four veterans’ homes, and is located in Bellevue. ENVH has 120 licensed beds grouped in four wings: two 30-bed skilled nursing care wings, 30 assisted living beds, and 30 beds for skilled dementia care. Specialized services such as physical therapy, plus a wide range of recreational and religious services are offered to the residents.

Western Nebraska Veterans Home

Western Nebraska Veterans’ Home (WNVH) is located on 32 acres at the northern edge of Scottsbluff. Licensed staff provide medical care and therapeutic services to both nursing and assisted living members 24 hours a day. Although most residents are veterans, we have several double rooms to accommodate married couples.

Central Utah Veterans Home

In general, a Veteran is eligible for admission to these homes if they served on active duty or deployed while serving in the reserves. There is no cost for veterans with a 70% or higher service-connected disability (SCD). For Veterans with no SCD or an SCD that is less than 70%, the VA subsidizes the cost with a per diem of approximately $120 a day.
