The Oregon Veterans’ Home in The Dalles was the first State Veterans Home in Oregon, opening its doors in the fall of 1997. The facility is nestled on a hillside, overlooking the majestic Columbia River, with clear views of the Columba River Gorge. One of the many things that truly sets The Dalles Veterans’ Home apart from other care communities are the residents.The Dalles Veterans’ Home is situated on 15 acres located in the historic Columbia Gorge community of The Dalles.

William F. Green State Veterans Home

Ardie R. Copas State Veterans’ Nursing Home

The new 120-bed state veterans’ home is located at 13000 SW Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987 in the Port St. Lucie community of Tradition. St. Lucie County began the process of having the state’s seventh Veterans Nursing Home located in the Tradition area back in 2014 after Tradition Land Company donated the 28 acres for the project. Once completed, officials estimate that the facility will employ 190 people annually.

Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home

The Ussery-Roan Texas State Veterans Home (TSVH) located in Amarillo, Texas is owned by the State of Texas, Veterans Land Board. The Veterans Land Board is a three-member board, which includes the Commissioner of the General Land Office and two additional members appointed by the Governor. The home in Amarillo is operated under contract with the ML Cares.
