Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home

Located conveniently in Augusta’s downtown medical community, Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home provides continuous professional nursing care to veterans of Georgia who have served in the armed forces during war times. The home is owned and funded by the Georgia Department of Veterans Service and operated through an interagency agreement with Augusta University. Through this association, Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home is considered a leader in the area of geriatric educational training for Augusta University.

Clyde E. Lassen State Veterans’ Nursing Home

The Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs operates eight skilled nursing facilities and one assisted living facility. All facilities are licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration and inspected annually by AHCA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The homes are supervised round the clock by registered and licensed nurses.

Ardie R. Copas State Veterans’ Nursing Home

The new 120-bed state veterans’ home is located at 13000 SW Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987 in the Port St. Lucie community of Tradition. St. Lucie County began the process of having the state’s seventh Veterans Nursing Home located in the Tradition area back in 2014 after Tradition Land Company donated the 28 acres for the project. Once completed, officials estimate that the facility will employ 190 people annually.
